Dr Jennifer Chivinge graduated from Imperial College London before spending several years working in the UK and then making the move to Australia, where she has worked across Melbourne and regional Victorian hospitals. She joined the Neal Street Medical Centre team in February 2023 and has quickly become a valued member of the Gisborne clinic.

Jennifer brings an impressive breadth of experience to her GP work. Her background spans adult and paediatric emergency medicine, including work as an emergency registrar during the pandemic, as well as obstetrics and gynaecology. She is continuing to develop her expertise in women's health through additional training, reflecting a genuine commitment to getting it right for her patients.

Her particular interests are women's health, children's and adolescent health and preventive care, and she is known for the care she takes in making sure patients feel informed and genuinely involved in decisions about their health. She believes that good outcomes start with patients who understand what is happening and why.

Outside of work Jennifer keeps active, loves reading and takes every opportunity to travel.

Jennifer works at the Gisborne and Woodend clinics.
