Fees and Bulk Billing
We bulk bill most GP consultations. Here is everything you need to know about our fees before you come in.
Bulk Billing
Most consultations are bulk billed.
We bulk bill all eligible Medicare item numbers for patients who hold a valid Medicare card. That covers the majority of GP consultations, care plans, health assessments and nurse-led services. If your visit is bulk billed, there is nothing to pay on the day.
The following services are always bulk billed for eligible Medicare card holders:
Standard GP consultations (face to face, phone and video)
Long GP consultations
GP Management Plans and Care Plans
Mental Health Care Plans
Nurse-led health assessments
75+ Health Assessments
Childhood immunisations
COVID immunisations
Not sure if your visit is covered? For most patients visiting for a standard GP appointment, there is nothing to pay. Just give us a call before you book and we will let you know. Call us on (03) 5483 3333
Service Fees
Certain services fall outside Medicare bulk billing and a private fee applies. Where this is the case, your doctor will discuss the cost with you during your consultation and our reception team can also advise before your appointment. All payments are made in full on the day. We use Medicare Easy Claim EFTPOS. Any Medicare rebates you are entitled to are processed directly to your account on the day.
WorkCover consultations.
All WorkCover consultations attract a private fee that is payable in full on the day of your appointment. Once you provide us with a valid WorkCover claim number and evidence that you have reached the threshold, we can bill the WorkCover insurance company directly for future consultations. You may also be reimbursed by your WorkCover insurer for private fees already paid, so please keep all receipts.

Please let us know if you cannot make it.
A $50 fee applies for missed appointments without sufficient notice. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call us at least two hours before your appointment so we can offer the time to another patient. A $50 admin fee also applies in the event of a payment default.
