Dr Saba Fatima brings a rich and varied background to her work at the Gisborne clinic. Having studied and practiced medicine abroad before moving to Australia in 2016, she went on to work at Eastern Health before completing her GP training across Castlemaine and the Macedon Ranges. Most recently she was practicing in Romsey before joining the Neal Street Medical Centre team, meaning she arrives with genuine local knowledge and community roots already established.

Saba is a firm believer in the power of patient education as part of good healthcare. Her view is that helping patients understand their own health is just as important as treating their conditions, and that approach shapes everything about how she works. Her clinical interests span women's health, mental health, dermatology and chronic disease management, and she is equally comfortable seeing patients of all ages across a broad range of general practice.

Outside of work she enjoys travelling, playing badminton and spending time with her daughter.
